GOLDWATER

goldwater.jpg

Psychedelic psychotic preachers famed for their frenzied live performances (remember their Main Stage show at our festival in September?) - they will make you stomp and shake with savage sounds. Blending heavy blues with 60s psychedelia and rabidly intense rock n roll, Leicester's GoldWater has to be seen to be believed. Live shows often descend into chaotic happenings as their wild lead singer clambers through the crowd preaching over the thundering band. They will be bringing additional musicians/vocals for a spectacular religious experience, so be prepared to get saved from the evils of bland music.

samantics.jpg

SAMANTICS is a livewire rap-poet and musician taking us on a multitudinous odyssey of instrumentation all created and controlled via a loop station and sampler. His live shows are a frantic, funny, meaningful and thrilling experience. Skirting the line between slam poet, social commentator and street performer, Samantics is an unmissable artist

bound to spike your energy levels.

STAR BOTHERERS bring you wry and quirky songs of love, life, work, death, politics, Wetherspoons and Star Wars. Their newly-released folk/punk album, 'Tales of Leyton Rakes' has been gaining critical acclaim from everywhere and their live show will make you want to laugh, mosh, sing and start a revolution. Infectious and ear-wormingly great songs - don't say shit when you could say sugar.

PRETTY BABS

With a healthy local and national following, indie-rockers Pretty Babs combine instantly-memorable riffs and big catchy choruses. Their lyrics depict modern day life, drunken temptations and social musings.

SAM DRAISEY

Listing his influences as Bob Dylan and Billy Bragg, Wolverhampton-based singer-songwriter Sam Draisey is unashamedly political and deals with issues close to the heart. With four albums and

hundreds of gigs under his belt, you can expect a quality show.
